Zacc Romero

Solo founder in New York. I do whatever I want at a high level — architecture, engineering, data science, training, design, fight sports — and since October 2024, that's meant software. Seven AI products in flight, all rehearsing the same thesis: a swarm of agents under one person beats a team of ten.

Architecture in high school, mechanical engineering in college, a data-science internship after, then years training people at Equinox, designing restaurants in NYC, finishing the NYC Marathon in 2025, training MMA, and coaching wrestling at Brooklyn Tech. Software is the latest thing — I learned to code from scratch in October 2024 by building the dashboard that's still on this site.

By day I work at Yuma AI — a subnet inside the Bittensor network. Drako is my alias and the umbrella over everything else: Drako DevOS is the operating layer underneath all of it; the other projects stress-test what one person can ship on top. Read more about Drako →

ADHD operator. I learned the hard way that a swarm of agents beats a team of ten, and that one person with the right operating layer can ship what used to take a startup. The next decade looks more like one-person studios than venture-backed teams. I'd rather ship one quietly excellent thing than seven generic ones — and I'm running seven anyway because they're all rehearsing the same idea.

UPDATED MAY 5, 2026·NEW YORK

Heads-down everywhere. The real focus is Drako DevOS — specifically the orchestration layer: how a swarm of agents under one operator coordinates, hands off, and stays coherent across long-horizon work. That's the substrate every other product is being built on.

Day job is at Yuma AI — one of the subnets inside the Bittensor network — which is where a lot of my thinking on decentralized agent economies and incentives gets pressure-tested. Drako iOS — the original spark from October 2024 — is on hold until at least 2027; the underlying AI infrastructure isn't honest enough yet to do it right.
